About Us

The Office of Community & Economic Development helps facilitate the process for new businesses wishing to relocate to Fairfield or for existing businesses that are interested in expanding.

The Business portal of the site contains information on programs available to help businesses wishing to open or to relocate to Fairfield and to aid those who have existing businesses here.

The Office maintains commercial property listings on "Site Finder" so businesses can search for that perfect business location.

The Office offers ongoing support to town businesses and sponsors events to bring shoppers to town to encourage them to "shop local".

The Office of Community & Economic Development also oversees the Downtown Employee Parking Program, as well as various streetscape and beautification initiatives in the central business district and other commercial corridors.
