Where Do I Vote?
How to Determine Your Polling Location
Your polling location is ultimately determined by where you are registered to vote (i.e. your Voter Registration Address), not necessarily where you currently reside.
If you know your Voter Registration Address you can use either the Secretary of State's Voter Registration Lookup or the RTM District Street Listing to determine your polling location. Both are described in more detail below.
If you've moved recently or are uncertain of where you are registered to vote, use the Secretary of State's Voter Registration Lookup or call the Registrars of Voters Office at (203) 256-3115.
Voter Registration Lookup
If you are already registered to vote you may use the Secretary of State's Voter Registration Lookup to determine your Polling Location. You must provide your first name, last name and birthdate. Use the location listed to the right of "State:" on the Secretary's web page.
The Secretary of State's Voter Registration Lookup results do not show your Voter Registration Address, only your Polling Location. If you want to know your Voter Registration Address contact the Registrars of Voters Office at 203-256-3115.
If you know your Voter Registration Address and want to change it, complete a Voter Registration Form and return it by mail or in person to the Registrars of Voters Office or contact the Registrars of Voters Office directly at 203-256-3115.
RTM District Street Lookup
Polling locations are determined by RTM District. On February 3rd, 2015 the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) passed a Redistricting Ordinance that took effect on February 18, 2015. There were significant changes to the RTM Districts lines as well as the polling locations.
If you are already registered to vote and know your Voter Registration Address, please consult any one of the following to determine the Polling Location associated with your street address:
The RTM District Street Listing with Polling Locations also provides information on RTM District and State Assembly District. The right-most column (labeled "D/P") on each address line denotes the RTM District followed by the State Assembly District (32, 33 or 34 = 132, 133 or 134).
