The Town Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) has selected Houseal Lavigne Associates to assist the SPC in the development of a Strategic Plan for the Town.
The initial meeting with Houseal Lavigne is scheduled for April 30th (details below).
The SPC was appointed by the Board of Selectmen and is charged with the development of a Strategic Plan to define what will make Fairfield attractive and desirable for residents and businesses over the longer term. As part of such plan, the actions and activities needed to achieve such objective will be defined.
There will be significant community engagement through surveys, workshops, and community meetings as the project proceeds. Information relevant to the development of a Strategic Plan will be presented and feedback gathered. All such meetings will be communicated so that robust community engagement can be achieved.
This initial workshop will be to help outline the goals and objectives, project schedule, information gathering approaches, and other strategic planning information to help structure the project's execution. The meeting will be held as follows:
