Fairfield Farmers Market and the Town of Fairfield are happy to announce the return of the popular summer farmers market on June 11th. The market will be held every Sunday 10AM-2PM, rain or shine, on Sherman Green. Over 30 local farms and small batch food producers will participate.
Three Connecticut farms will offer fresh seasonal vegetables, fruit and salad greens. In addition to produce, vendors will offer other essential food such as meat, eggs, fish, baked goods, bread, salami, honey, sweet treats, CBD products and more.
This season, we are featuring live music at the gazebo twice monthly. New food and artisan vendors are bringing new excitement to the market, and we are thrilled to have them able participate this year. Anthony Calabrese, Director of Fairfield Parks and Recreation, said, “We are excited to host this popular community event every Sunday on the historic Sherman Green. Come support your local farms and enjoy the best seasonal products around.”
In addition to the Town-run market, Fairfield also has the Greenfield Hill Farmers Market located at 65 Hillside Road which runs every Saturday through October 28th. First Selectwoman Brenda L. Kupchick stated, “Fairfield is lucky to have two farmers markets that support local farmers and small businesses and help provide local and fresh options to our residents. I am thrilled live music will continue to be a part of the market this season.”
This year’s farms and vendors include: Bees Knees Ice Pops, Bella Alpacas & Home Harvested Herbals, Biscuits & Bones, Carrot Top Kitchens, Chaga Cola, Cloudy Lane Bakery, Cross Culture Kombucha, Dancing Barefoot Farms, Edgewise Kitchen, G Café & Bakery, George Hall Farm, Grumpy Dumpling Co., Herbal Deva Farm, Kardamas Olive Oil, Khemis Vegan Cuisine, Little River Farm, Mill Pond Essentials, Nature View Farm, Oui Charcuterie, Saugatuck Provisions, Short Bus Bicycles, Strawberry Hill Candies, Raus Coffee Company, The Bee Love Project, The Local Catch, Unbakeables, Yalla Organic, and many more!
