8/22/2018 - Mosquitoes Test Postive for West Nile Virus in Fairfield - Update 8/22/2018

Connecticut Department of Public Health (CTDPH) has confirmed that mosquitoes collected from Fairfield's South Pine Creek Area trapping site have tested positive for West Nile Virus (WNV). Although the first positive mosquito for Fairfield, 45 other Connecticut communities have had WNV positive mosquitoes. For more information please read our press release.
