Hazardous Waste Collection

Hazardous Waste Collection Day: Saturday, August 27, 2022
9am - 2pm at Veteran's Park - 909 Reef Road

Fairfield residents may take their household hazardous materials to HazWaste Central at 90 Sargent Drive in New Haven (exit 46 off I-95 and follow the signs) any Saturday from the mid May to the last Saturday in October from 9am to 12 noon.

Once a year, the town sponsors a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day at Veterans Park on Reef Road, usually in late August.

Acceptable Materials

Please click here to view a list of what household materials are accepted and which ones are not at both HazWaste Central and the Collection Day.   Please do not mix or remove items from their original package.
