First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today additional details regarding the upcoming Shop & Stroll Into Spring event on Thursday, April 25th and invites the public to take part. The event is being co-presented by the Town of Fairfield, the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Fairfield Moms.
Participating shops in downtown Fairfield will stay open late and will offer patrons complimentary hors d’oeuvres and seasonal refreshments from 5 pm to 9 pm. The Town and Chamber are pleased to once again partner with @FairfieldMoms to make it a night not to be missed!
The evening will kick off with Happy Hour from 5-7 p.m. at The Chelsea, located at 12 Unquowa Place, which will include special discounts on food and drinks, shopping promotions and free “Shop Fairfield” tote bags, while supplies last. Enjoy a full evening of shopping and then join Fairfield Moms at their fun after-party at The Sinclair, where there will be drink and appetizers specials. The Sinclair is located at 1229 Post Road.
“The annual Shop & Stroll is a great opportunity to celebrate the arrival of spring, support our local businesses and enjoy a fun night out with family and friends,” said First Selectman Mike Tetreau.
Beverly Balaz, President of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, added, “The Chamber of Commerce is happy to be partnering with the Town on this event as it provides our merchants another opportunity to open their doors to the community, meet new customers from surrounding towns and provide a wonderful shopping experience!”
In addition to Fairfield Moms, the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Fairfield, the complimentary shopping bags are being sponsored by: Apricot Lane, Capri, Ciao Bella, Fairfield Center Jewelers, Fairfield Magazine, Gells, Henry C Reid & Son Jewelers, Initial Reaction, In the Mood Intimates, The Label Exchange, Malibu Taco, Mark's Art, Newtown Medispa, Penfield Collective, Saltwater, The Sinclair, Snappy Gator, Soundrunner, Swim and Surf, Thorn Hill, and the 203.
