The Solarize Fairfield program will kick off with a free workshop on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Ave., Southport. Residents can learn about the program, be introduced to their solar installer, hear about financing options, and have a chance to learn if their house is good for solar.

Solarize Fairfield is part of Solarize Connecticut, a unique community-based program to increase the use of residential solar state-wide, with support from SmartPower, a leading non-profit marketing firm focused on renewable energy, and the Connecticut Green Bank. We hope that our residents will come to one of the Solarize events over the next 20 weeks and consider joining the hundreds of Fairfield homeowners who are saving money and helping to sustain our environment by utilizing solar energy.”

Through a competitive process focused on quality and pricing, All Green it Solar, the solar installer for last year’s Solarize Fairfield program, has been chosen again to provide the solar installations in Fairfield. To qualify for special discount pricing, contracts for new solar installations need to be signed by February 22, 2018.
