7/20/2017 - Come Enjoy Fairfield’s Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair & Pequot Library’s Annual Summer Book Sale: A Weekend of Fun for Everyone!

In anticipation of this Saturday’s (July 22nd) Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair, First Selectman Mike Tetreau spoke with Tony Reno on WICC today about the Town and Chamber’s annual event which runs from 10-4 pm, rain or shine, throughout downtown Fairfield.  Click here to listen to the interview.

The First Selectman noted that select merchants will offer advance sales of discount merchandise beginning today, Thursday, July 20th. Saturday’s event will feature over 75 vendors along the Post Road from the Heritage Square Shopping Center to the Promenade at the Brick Walk. Several downtown restaurants will offer lunch specials and live musical entertainment at multiple venues and activities for children and families at Sherman Green will also be provided.

First Selectman Tetreau also encouraged residents and visitors alike to check out Pequot Library’s Annual Summer Book Sale - “The Best Book Sale in New England” – before heading to Fairfield Center on Saturday, July 22nd for some Shopping, Food, Music and More!

Pequot’s enormously successful Book Sale begins Friday, July 21st and runs through Tuesday, July 25th. For more information, including hours, please click here.
