May is Mental Health Awareness Month 2021: Tools To Thrive
Check out our bulletin highlighting many fabulous happenings this May in Fairfield, with resources and flyers hyperlinked for easy registration to events. Follow Mental Health Connecticut's blog for #31Tools2Thrive his month. We especially like number 5 - Humor! Mental Health Association Oklahoma published a wonderful Spring Coloring and Activity Book for download. On May 26, join us for an in-person event, Laughter Yoga with Shelli at Penfield Beach at 4 p.m., guided by Shelli Lalime Sullivan, World Language Teacher and Certified Laughter Yoga leader. Laughter yoga, involves a series of movement and breathing exercises to promote deliberate laughter, which can provide benefits equal to those of spontaneous laughter. Laughter yoga can help lift your mood, reduce stress, strengthen your immune system, increase energy levels, improve your quality of life, and help you better manage hardship - skills we all need, especially at this time. Attendance is free. Please bring a mat or beach towel.
