The Town of Fairfield’s Office of Community & Economic Development is delighted to announce the opening of ComforCare, an in-home care provider with local offices in the Heritage Square Plaza located at 1700 Post Road in Fairfield. Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau joined Fairfield Chamber Of Commerce President Beverly Balaz, Community & Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart, as well as family and friends at a ribbon cutting ceremony this past Thursday to help celebrate the business’s official grand opening.
ComForCare of Fairfield provides non-medical, in-home care to area residents who are elderly, disabled, living with dementia or recovering from injuries or surgery so they can continue to live independently in their own homes. The business is owned locally by Fairfield native and active community member Neil Anand. Services include senior companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, family respite care and more, based on each individual's needs.
Anand plans to draw on his health care and marketing background, along with his experience as a volunteer with a local organization that provides transportation to seniors, to bring high-quality, compassionate care to area residents. “I'm passionate about serving those in my hometown who are in need of assistance," Anand said. "Owning a ComForCare office is a way to reach out to even more people and help them have better days in the comfort of their own homes."
Commented Community & Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart, “We are thrilled to welcome ComforCare to our ever-expanding Fairfield business community.” We wish Neil many years of success in Fairfield,” he added.
