This four-week program is offered as morning session from 9:00am to noon or an afternoon session from 1:00 to 4:00pm beginning Monday, July 2. Strict attendance for entire 4 weeks is critical for children with leading roles. The morning session will end with a performance on Friday, July 27 at 7:00 pm and the afternoon session will end with a performance on Saturday, July 28 at 7:00 pm. All participants will receive t-shirts and music CDs, learn the basics of musical theatre, sing, and dance. Pending royalty approval the 2018 show will be Lion King Junior! A fun show for both boys & girls!
Strict attendance at every rehearsal is critical to your child's success in performing all roles. The commitment to be in this 4 week production is heavier than to a summer day camp as it culminates in a group goal.

The 2018 show is Lion King Jr. and we welcome our Returning Director, Christina Kalafut!

Supply your child with a healthy snack that does not include nuts each day.

Have them wear sneakers for choreography on stage - no flip flops, sandals, or bare feet on stage. Also they should wear clothes that allows them to move comfortably.

We must have carpool notes each day a child is to go home with a different family. Of course you may send one note if they will travel with that family for the entire 4 weeks.

This is the grandest scale show that PreTeen Players has ever attempted so attendance at all rehearsals for all 3 hours is essential! When it comes down to it, there will be approximately 10 rehearsals to teach all of these iconic songs, dances, & scenes. For the sake of your child's stress level, please have them well rested, fed, & on time every day we meet so they may enjoy the process.

Your child should bring their scripts, folders & pencils at each rehearsal. They should listen to the CD all the time! Please review the booklet in the folders to help/remind your child understand the process of auditioning, casting, rehearsing, and performing so they are prepared for the next few weeks especially if this is your child's first show.
