The Special Summer Playground Program is for any child enrolled in a Fairfield Public School Special Education Program. Daily activities include quiet and active games, arts and crafts, movies, exercise and on-site special events. Jennings Beach and Lake Mohegan will also be included on Mondays and Fridays. Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/family member.
Special Playground Director, Kathy Morehouse is a Para-Professional for the Fairfield School system with over 20 years of experience working with individuals with special needs. Kathy and her staff strive to meet each participants individual needs with a nurturing approach. The program takes place at Burr School in air-conditioned classrooms, site subject to change. * Refund Policy - No refunds after May 31. A $50 administration fee will be charged per refund, per person
* Late fees will be implemented after 2 late pick-ups, $15 per 15 minutes.
