Additional Soccer Information
It is important to register on or before the registration deadline. Returning players from the previous season will be placed back on their same team provided they register by deadline. New players and returning players that want to switch teams will be placed at the discretion of the Recreation Department. Any registrations received after the deadline will not be guaranteed placement on a team.
Teams are comprised of three to four players from a school with three to four schools per team with a maximum of 16 players.
QUICK LEAGUE INFORMATION
Grades K, 1 & 2: play 4 vs 4 on age appropriate sized fields with no goalies using a size 3 soccer ball. Shin guards are required.
Grades 3 & 4: play 7 vs 7 on a small-sided field. No goalies at the 3rd grade level. Both grades use a size 4 soccer ball. Shin guards are required.
Grades 5 & 6: play 9 vs 9 on a small-sided field with goalies and use a size 4 soccer ball. Shin guards are required.
Grades 7 & 8: play 11 vs 11 on a full sized soccer field playing by all FIFA rules and size 5 ball. Shin guards are required.
