Swimming Lessons 2020

In light of the potential public health risks presented by the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Fairfield Parks & Recreation has made the decision to cancel all Swimming Lessons for the summer of 2020.

This decision was made to best protect the health and safety of our patrons, staff and the community as a whole, and based on the recommendations of town and state officials.

We apologize in advance for any disappointment. We appreciate your continued support and thank you for your patience as we navigate through these challenging times.

Fairfield Parks and Recreation offers a variety of levels of Swimming Lessons at both Jennings Beach and Lake Mohegan.  The lessons are taught by certified Lifeguards and overseen by our Waterfront Director.

American Red Cross Water Safety classes must remain small for safety reasons. To avoid disappointments, we recommend that you register early and include additional choices. Please note that the Red Cross has revised these courses, so carefully review the pre-requisites and course content when selecting the appropriate course for your child. Age requirements are strict.
