If you recall the earlier news from June 20, 2022, then Eagle Scout candidate Mark Cassa from Tropp 199 worked with the Department and installed an osprey nesting platform in the Oldfield Road North tidal marsh.

Then on October 18, 2022, The Tucker Fund and the Conservation Department cut the ribbon to the bird observation blind, facilitating a great view of the new nesting platform.

Lastly, I'm pleased to announce, that today I observed a pair on the platform building a nest (Thank you Commissioners Hood & Luchsinger for the photos).
