The Office of Community & Economic Development is accepting public comments through close of business on August 10, 2021, on its draft FY 2021 Annual Action Plan.  The Annual Plan identifies the housing, community and economic development needs of the Town and its residents.  The Town receives funding annually from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development through the CDBG Program.  The primary purpose of the CDBG program is to create viable communities through the provision of decent affordable housing, a suitable living environment and expanded economic opportunities, primarily aimed at persons and/or areas of low/moderate income.  The Town expects to receive $525,640 in CDBG funds for the upcoming program year.  Persons wishing to comment on the draft Plan may do so in writing to the Office of Community & Economic Development, 611 Old Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824 or via e-mail at cedoffice@fairfieldct.org.
