8/13/2019 - Town Seeks Input on Electric Car Usage

Do you own or have you ever considered an electric vehicle?  Here’s your chance to weigh in!  The Town has been working with the United Illuminating Company and Live Green CT as part of a pilot initiative to assess opportunities to install EV charging infrastructure as well as examine local barriers to its deployment.

The study, which is being conducted at no cost to the Town, is intended to support infrastructure development planning.  As part of this effort, the Town hopes to learn more about how people who live, work, or frequent Fairfield perceive electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. The Town hopes by taking this survey, interested parties will freely be able to voice their opinions on the topic, one that has gained significant backing in recent years, both regionally and nationally.

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey by Friday, August 30.  All responses will be confidential.

If you have further questions on the subject, call the Office of Community and Economic Development at 203-256-3120 or email Mark Barnhart.
