The Wednesday, May 12, deliberation session of the Board of Assessment Appeals will begin at 6:00 pm. All nine board members are expected to be present.
The Board will be conducting hearings for any property owners whose assessments were increased due to the Recommended by Assessor Changes approved by the Board on May 6 and wish to appeal those increases. The Board will then deliberate on those appeals, if any.
The Board will also be deliberating on appeals previously decided that board members wish to have reconsidered and on corrections to the Recommended by Assessor real estate changes approved last week.
This will be the final deliberation session of the Board of Assessment Appeals for real estate and personal property appeals for the 2020 Grand List. Motor Vehicle appeals will be heard and deliberated on in September.
