Community Gardens

Fairfield is home to a number of community gardens that residents can benefit from.

Drew Park Community Garden

Drew Park Community Garden, located at 220 Warde Terrace, consists of 46 raised-bed plots of various sizes that are available at no cost to Fairfield residents for cultivating their own vegetables, herbs and flowers. The produce may be grown for gardener’s own consumption or gifted to those in need.

St. Timothy’s Garden on the Hill

This is a sweet little garden at St. Timothy's Church. Children in the preschool at the church as well as parishioners and other community members can enjoy a quiet respite and tend to the vegetables, most of which are donated to the CT Food Bank.

Designed and constructed by Homefront Farmers using funds raised by the school’s spring auction event, this garden opened in August 2017.
