Launch Ramp Permits

There are two ramps for launching boats at South Benson Marina and one at Ye Yacht Yard. Residents are also allowed to launch boats at Jennings and Penfield beaches in limited numbers and with permission. Launch Ramp Permits for the  2023 boating season will be available beginning Monday April 17, 2023 and are sold at the Parks and Recreation Department from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday.

  

Applications must include the following:

  1. Non-Refundable Payment - $50 (Resident); $250(Non-resident)  -credit card or check payable to "Town of Fairfield"

  2. Vessel Registration – Vessel must be owned by applicant

  3. Vessel Liability Insurance – Declaration page to show effective dates
  4. Vehicle Registration (1) – Vehicle must be in the vessel owner’s name and address

  5. Driver’s License - Copies are acceptable if by mail

Non-Resident permits are limited to the first 50 applicants. There is no limit to the number of resident permits sold.
