Do you know what to do in a major disaster such as a flood, winter storm or hurricane? Do you know someone who has been injured in a major disaster? Did you ever want to help?
This training is for you. The CT Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security and FEMA have established the basic curriculum we will follow. You will train to be part of the
FAIRFIELD COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM – CERT. http://www.fairfieldct.org/cert
Training will include: disaster preparedness, terrorism, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, disaster psychology, fire safety, sheltering and more. Initially Residents Only, N/R policy applies. Attendance at ALL classes is required.
