10/5/2016 - When Will I Receive my Absentee Ballot?

The Town Clerk's Office will begin sending out Absentee Ballots on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 (Friday, September 23rd for overseas / FPCA applications). There is no need to be concerned that your ballot has not arrived prior to these dates. However, Connecticut does require that all ballots be returned and received (not just postmarked) on or before Election Day (Tuesday, November 8th) to be counted.

Please note that Absentee Voting is a two-step process requiring that an Absentee Ballot Application be filed with the Town Clerk's Office prior to an Absentee Ballot being issued.  Absentee Ballot Applications can be filed at any time.  Please visit www.fairfieldct.org/absenteevoting for more information on Absentee Voting.
