Speakers will be Jennifer Barahona of the Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation and Chief Denis McCarthy, Emergency Management Director for the Town. Chief McCarthy said: “The evolution of community mental health requires collaboration between all partners, stakeholders and the public.  We are at critical point in advancing the wide spectrum of care from the layperson’s psychological first aid to definitive professional treatment.” Kindly RSVP to the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities 203-256-3166 or call Teresa Giegengack, Director of Human Services at 203-256-3169 for further information.
