extending an invitation to mental health professionals who live and /or work in
Community Mental Health partnerships are a valuable
asset to Fairfield’s services during any disaster or crisis.
Please join us for the Third Annual Mental Health Breakfast, Tues., Oct. 3rd at 100 Mona Terrace, the Bigelow
Center for Senior Activities.
There will be an engaging program of events and a breakfast catered by local favorite The Pantry.
Speakers will be Jennifer Barahona of the Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation and Chief Denis McCarthy, Emergency Management Director for the Town.
Chief McCarthy said: “The evolution of community mental health requires collaboration between all partners, stakeholders and the public. We are at critical point in advancing the wide spectrum of care from the layperson’s psychological first aid to definitive professional treatment.”
