Harvest New England is a private company contracted by the Town of Fairfield to accept yard waste and process compost at the Public Works Yard.

Use Requirements

A valid 'A' beach sticker or dump sticker is required. If you don't have a town sticker, you will automatically be charged as a commercial customer.


Harvest New England maintains different hours depending upon the season.  Please check the following chart for hours of operation and note the holiday closures below:

Christmas Tree Dropoff

Harvest New England accepts Christmas trees free of charge.  The Yard Waste Facility will be open on Saturday January 13th and Saturday January 20th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Christmas Tree and Yard Waste disposal.
