10/1/2015 - Fairfield Restaurant Week Set to Begin October 11th

First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today that a record 42 restaurants will be participating in this year’s Fairfield Restaurant Week, which is being held from Sunday, October 11 through Saturday, October 17, 2015. Restaurants will feature special prix fixe lunch and dinner menus or alternative discount pricing on their existing menus.

This year’s featured restaurants include: 55 Wine Bar & Restaurant, Angus Steakhouse, Archie Moore’s Bar & Restaurant, Artisan, Bangalore, Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant, Bella Sera Ristorante, b.good, Bodega Taco Bar, Bonda, Café Madeline, Centro Ristorante, The Chelsea, Colony Grill, Coromandel Cuisine of India, Craft 260, Crave 52, Fin, Flipside Burgers & Bar, Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, The Gray Goose, Hana Tokyo, Joe’s American Bar & Grill, The Little Goose, Local Kitchen & Beer Bar, Martel Bistro, Mecha Noodle Bar, Michael Gennaro’s Steakhouse, Old Post Tavern, Osianna Mediterranean Taverna, Paci, Plan B Burger, Quattro Pazzi Cafe, Rio Bravo, Southport Brewing Company, Sweet Basil, Tazza Osteria & Bar, Taberna Tapas, Tomato & Basil, Tuscany Ristorante and Wafu Asian Bistro.

First Selectman Tetreau said, “Restaurant Week gives the public the opportunity to visit the many fine restaurants and retailers in our community. This week-long event is another way the Town can show its support for our local businesses, help our local economy and provide our residents with an enjoyable experience. We encourage Fairfield’s citizens and visitors alike to join us in this special town event!”

The public can visit www.fairfieldct.org/rw to learn more about participating restaurants and retailers, as well as events that are scheduled to take place during this special week.

The Town has created a passport book that will be available at participating restaurants and other key locations during Restaurant Week. Passports will be "stamped" during each visit to a participating restaurant. One entry is allowed per household. No purchase is necessary. All winners will be notified via e-mail.

Passports bearing stamps from two or more restaurants are eligible for a drawing to be held at the conclusion of Restaurant Week. The top prize will be a night’s stay, deluxe accommodations, at the Delamar Southport plus dinner for two at Artisan Restaurant and a Couple’s Massage at the Spa at Delamar. Other prize contributors include: The Gray Goose Restaurant, the Fairfield Circle Inn, the Fairfield Theatre Company, Hot Spot Glass Studio, Orangetheory Fitness, ZenRide Fairfield, Massage Envy, the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, the Fairfield Museum & History Center, the Quick Center for the Performing Arts, the Fairfield University Bookstore, the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts, Coreen’s Bridge Floral Shop, Vintage Garden Gifts, 5 Oceans Fair Trade, Mo’s Wine & Spirits, Island Outfitters, Capri, Magic Beans, Jenny Boston Boutique, Apricot lane, Me Boutique, Pure Barre Fairfield and the Fairfield University Athletic Department.

Passports can also be shown to participating retailers which are offering special discounts throughout the week. Participating retailers include: Apricot Lane, The Beehive, Capri, Chloe’s Closet, Coreen’s Bridge Floral Shop, Dash N’ Drizzle, the Fairfield Circle Inn, the Fairfield Museum & History Center, the Fairfield University Bookstore, 5 Oceans Fair Trade, Hazel Daze, Island Outfitters, Jenny Boston Boutique, the Label Exchange, Lion’s Paw, Magic Beans, Me Boutique, Red Mango, Swim n’ Surf and Vintage Garden Gifts.
