Fairfield, CT -- The Town of Fairfield’s Office of Community & Economic Development is delighted to announce the official opening of Westcott Cove Wine & Spirits located at 1490 Post Road in Fairfield. First Selectman Mike Tetreau, Community & Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart, and other invited friends, family and guests helped celebrate the shop’s grand opening today with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Westcott Cove Wine & Spirits offers a range of beer, wine and distilled spirits at competitive prices in a friendly and relaxed environment. Customer service is very important to owner Ihor Lukiv and his son Alex, who manage the store. “We feature many of the most popular brands, but if you are looking for something particular that we don’t have, we will gladly order it for you,’ remarked Alex Lukiv. This is the family’s second Connecticut location after the original Westcott Cove spirit shop located at 705 Shippan Avenue in Stamford.
Community & Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart stated, “We are thrilled to have Westcott Cove Wine & Spirits join our vibrant and growing Fairfield business community and restaurant scene. Small businesses like this have long been the backbone of our local economy, and we wish owner Ihor Lukiv much success in his new business venture.”
Westcott Cove Wine & Spirits is open seven days a week. Hours are 10:00AM to 9:00PM, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
