The Fairfield Department of Community & Economic Development is pleased to welcome Taj Indian Cuisine and Senior Helpers, both of which celebrated ribbon cuttings this past week.

Senior Helpers, located in the Heritage Square Plaza at 1700 Post Road, is one of the nation’s premier providers of personalized in-home senior care. “Our goal at Senior Helpers in Fairfield is to provide quality care and comfort at a moment’s notice,” says Katie Vanovitch, Owner & President. “Our team is proud to provide a valuable resource to our community by helping to alleviate the stress associated with caregiving and ensure a better quality of life for families through personalized in-home senior care,” she added. Its caregivers in Fairfield are fully trained and certified to offer the highest level of care possible based on the company’s Senior Gems® Alzheimer’s and Dementia care program. As the gold standard for excellence in personalized in-home senior care, the program was developed in conjunction with nationally recognized dementia care expert Teepa Snow and is endorsed by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Care options range from full-time 24/7 care to as little as a few hours a day. For additional information visit www.seniorhelpers.com.

Owner Finto Anthony invites everyone to savor the unique flavors of authentic and traditional Indian cuisine. Taj offers a wide variety of menu items, including popular favorites and many vegetarian and vegan options. Patrons can also order on-line, and the restaurant provides free local delivery.
