5/10/2016 - Low Cost Rabies Vaccine Clinic on 5/14/16

On Saturday, May 14th from 10 am–12 noon Fairfield Animal Control will be holding a low cost pet rabies vaccination clinic at the Animal Shelter at 211 One Rod Highway, Fairfield. The clinic will be sponsored for the 28th year by the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) with Dr. John Kristy of the Engelberg Kristy Animal Hospital vaccinating cats/dogs. The cost of the vaccination is $20 cash per cat/dog. All dogs must be on leashes and cats in secure carriers. The pet rabies vaccines will be of 3 year duration for dogs/cats that have previous proof of rabies vaccination (either current or expired). Any pet that does not have proof of a previous vaccine will receive a one year duration vaccine. Any pet owner that displays a State of Connecticut assistance card will receive 1 free vaccination.
