Site Rentals

Looking to host a private party, meeting or fundraiser in Fairfield?  There are numerous public and private sites available for rent depending on the size of your party and your needs.

Town-Owned Properties

The Town owns a variety of venues available for use to meet the varying needs of residents, businesses and visitors.

The Pavilions at Penfield Beach are two beautiful, beachfront event destinations that offer panoramic views of The Long Island Sound, perfect for any celebration including weddings, birthdays, graduation parties, fundraisers and offsite meetings.  Penfield Pavilion, the larger of our two Pavilions, is able to accommodate seated functions up to 180 guests, cocktail parties up to 300 guests.  Our covered deck and unobstructed views of the water serve as the perfect backdrop and transition nicely to a lively cocktail hour.  Jacky Durrell Pavilion, the smaller of our two Pavilions, has a rustic style all its own.  The space accommodates up to 125 guests and features a wraparound deck for cocktails, mingling and breathtaking views of the beach and sound.  Please contact the Parks and Recreation department for rental information.

The stately Burr Mansion at the Burr Homestead in the heart of Fairfield's historic Old Post Road can accommodate both large and small gatherings and features large rooms, access to 4 acres of gardens and reflecting pools and full kitchen facilities. The Mansion is owned by the Town of Fairfield and managed by Fairfield Parks & Recreation.  Please contact the Parks and Recreation department for rental information.

Events can be held on the beach, at designated picnic areas or on Town Greens with the appropriate approval.

The Fairfield Public Library has four rooms available for rent - three at the Main Library and one at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library.  Click here for reservation information for either of the libraries.

Some non-profit meetings and events can also be held in available school spaces. Reservations at the schools are managed by the Board of Education's business services office.

The newly constructed Fairfield Regional Fire School located at 205 Richard White Way has three classrooms available for rent.

Old Town Hall has one conference room and Sullivan Independence Hall has three conference rooms available for rent to Fairfield-based non-profit groups on a very limited basis.  Town departments, boards and commissions have priority use of the rooms.  Contact the First Selectman's Office for more information.

Those non-profits interested in hosting a fundraising event on Town property should contact the Parks and Recreation Office.
